      Center Introduction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      In 1994, Tzu Chi Medical College established the Humanities Office, which included the “Humanities Education Division” responsible for general education-related matters. To enhance the implementation of general education courses, the “General Education Center” was officially established in August 1997. The center oversees general education and other related matters. On January 18, 1997, the 10th University Affairs Meeting approved the establishment of the “General Education Center,” which was later incorporated into the university’s organizational regulations in the 11th University Affairs Meeting. Due to organizational changes, the center was integrated into the Office of Common Education when it was established in 2009. In 2024, to enhance the international competitiveness of faculty, staff, and students and improve educational quality, Tzu Chi University merged with Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology and is now affiliated with Liberal Arts Sky College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
